Ugo Atlas Bariatric Steel Self Propelled Wheelchair

This extra wide self propelled wheelchair from Ugo is available in 4 seat widths (20", 22", 24" and 26") and is designed for users weighing up to 28.5 stone or 31.5 stone (26" seat width only).

The Atlas bariatric wheelchair is built around a very strong double cross braced steel frame which folds down to 13.5" when it is time to store or transport the wheelchair and comes with many features geared towards comfort and security. The arm rests are padded and can be removed with ease for side transfers and the quick release foot rests are height adjustable and come with calf supports.

To the rear of the Atlas there are stepper tubes designed to lift the front of the wheelchair to climb a curb stone or single step and there is a slim pocket on the back of the seat which is ideal for storage of small items. The upholstery is vinyl making it very easy to wipe down and keep clean and for added user security there is a lap seat belt which helps to keep you in place when on the move.

All  tyres are solid and puncture proof to avoid any problems when out and about and the attractive mag style 24" rear wheels have comfortable hand rims for the user. All in all, this extra wide super strong wheelchair is ideal for the larger user and will require very little maintenance.

Elevated leg rests are an optional extra with this wheelchair and can be selected from the drop down menu above. The wheelchair comes with standard foot rests.
