The new ultra lightweight Sparrow 2 wheelchair from Karma Mobility is a high quality self propelled wheelchair with an 18" seat width and maximum user weight of 100kgs or 18.5 stone and offers many benefits.

One of the key features of the Sparrow 2 wheelchair is its compact form when folded. When it comes to transporting or storing this wheelchair the rear wheels are quick release, the backrest is half-folding and the footrests fold back on themselves making it incredibly compact.

The swing-away footrests (that are fixed on the frame) have an anti-slip surface to keep your feet firmly in place. When it's time to transfer, they swing out of the way to allow plenty of standing space.

The wheelchair upholstery is easily removed so that it can be washed. The detachable seating system also provides more support than most and avoids the sagging hammock effect that can occur.

The attendant push-handles have ergonomic hand grips and attendant brakes making it easier to control and stop the wheelchair.

At the rear there is a flip down lever that can be used to lift the wheelchair over an obstacle of threshold.
