Invacare Alu Lite Transit wheelchair

Available with a choice of two seat widths, the Invacare Alu Lite transit wheelchair is a great entry level wheelchair with attendant brakes.

The loop style brakes make it easier to slow and stop the wheelchair and can be locked once stopped. The frame is made using aluminium which keeps the wheelchair light in weight at just 12 KGs or 10.2 KGs with the foot rests removed making it a very lightweight wheelchair to lift in to the car boot or on to the train or bus.

The frame is compact making it very easy to manoeuvre and folds with ease when it is time to stow or transport the wheelchair. The backrest folds down to further reduce the space required for storage. The foot rests swing away to give easy access on or off the chair. There is an adjustable lap seat belt for added user security.

With a maximum user weight of 100 KGs this entry level transit wheelchair provides great value for users up to 15 and a half stone in weight.
