Invacare Action 4 NG Transit Wheelchair

The Action 4 NG Transit model from Invacare comes with a variety of seat sizes and frame colours. This new model has an improved frame design that folds easier and is more compact which helps for storage and transportation of the wheelchair. The model has also been successfully crash tested for use in suitable adapted vehicles.

Features of the Action 4 NG include height adjustable flip-up footrests and height adjustable arm rests allowing you to achieve maximum comfort. The seat depth can also be adjusted by up to 5cm. Wheel adjustment is also possible which allows you to vary the wheelbase length and seat height thus changing the centre of gravity and effectively the back rest angle between 0° / 7° / 0° - 30° / – 6° - +24° range.

The seat back folds down which further helps to reduce the space needed for storage. In addition, the rear wheels are quick release making the wheelchair lighter when it comes to lifting in to the car or on to a train of aircraft. The foot rests can also be removed which reduces the weight further down to 11.7kgs.
