Invacare Action 2 NG Transit Wheelchair

The Action 2 NG transit wheelchair from Invacare is a sturdy wheelchair that has been successfully crash tested for use in suitably adapted vehicles and is available in a choice of 5 seat widths.

Built around a strong folding aluminium frame, the Action 2 NG wheelchair has been newly redesigned and offers high levels of functionality, comfort and stability. It is now more stable than ever which makes it safer, more comfortable and easier for the attendant to control.

The castors at the front of the wheelchair have been mounted on the outside of the frame which gives more space for the footrests and makes it easier to foot pedal. The frame is also adjustable at the rear which allows adjustment of the back rest from 7 to minus 30 degrees.

The Action 2 NG comes with a half folding backrest that helps when it is time to store or transport the wheelchair. There is an adjustable seatbelt for user safety. The armrests are height adjustable and the footrests are both swing away for transfers but are also removable, making the chair lighter to lift. There are anti tippers to the rear of the wheelchair to give further stability.
