Roma Reno Elite Seat Riser Powerchair

The Reno Elite seat riser powerchair is a new model from Roma Medical and is based on the hugely successful Reno Elite powerchair. The Elite seat riser edition brings new benefits allowing the user to raise and lower the seat height by as much as 11" or 28cm.

A seat rising powerchair allows a user to do more tasks and perhaps take a more active role in many situations. Seat elevation can give wheelchair users more independence by allowing them to safely reach and use items previously out of reach. This may be placing an order at a bar or in a cafe or joining in with other activities without requiring the help of another person therefore giving physical, psychological and functional benefits to the user. Transfers can also be simplified when using a seat rising powerchair.

Features of the Reno Elite seat riser powerchair include a very comfortable padded captains seat that swivels, an easy to use dynamic Shark joystick controller and electromagnetic brakes allowing smooth braking and stopping. The backrest folds forward to reduce space needed for storage or transportation, the adjustable arm rests flip up to allow easy transfers on and off the powerchair and the footplate is height adjustable and flips up when not required.

When it is time to charge the Reno Elite batteries the battery pack is removable allowing you to charge it away from the powerchair. All tyres are puncture proof for peace of mind, there is a lap style seat belt for user safety and there are anti tipper wheels at the rear to keep the powerchair stable when travelling up safe inclines.
