Karma Star 2 Self Propelled Wheelchair

The Karma Star 2 is a new lightweight aluminium manual wheelchair from Karma Mobility. This model includes some features not previously seen including the elliptical aluminium frame tubing and the new ergonomic hand rims.

Designed for users up to 18 stone or 115kgs in weight, the Karma Star 2 is available in 2 seat width options of 16" or 18". The seat system itself can be removed for cleaning making it an easy wheelchair to maintain.

To the rear of the wheelchair there are attendant brakes that allow greater control of the wheelchair when it is time to slow or stop.

When it is time to transfer, the foot rests swing out and align by the side of the wheelchair to make space for the users feet. If you want to transport or stow the wheelchair then it can be made very compact by removing the quick release rear wheels and folding down the top half of the backrest. It will then fit in the car boot or on the train or bus with ease.

The Karma Star 2 wheelchair has also been successfully been crash tested.
